Reintroducing the FARER World Timers. Updated and Better Than Ever.

The perfect travel companions are now available in three distinct variations, and have upgrades that make them better than ever.

A Crowd Favorite Since 2019

The FARER World Timers collection initially launched in 2019, has become highly sought-after. It features a central rotating 24-hour disc and a bidirectional internal bezel, allowing users to simultaneously view the time in 24 cities worldwide. The collection has been reintroduced with significant improvements, including the return of popular models Roché and Markham, along with the introduction of a new green model named Foxe. Updates across the collection include a modern alpha-shaped hour and minute hands for improved aesthetics. Additionally, changes to the rotating bezel cities are noted: Chicago replaces Mexico City, Beijing replaces Hong Kong, and Paris is replaced by Bienne, symbolizing the production location of the World Timers. The movement has also been updated to a unique version of the Sellita SW330-1

An Upgraded Movement with Top Grade Finishing

The SW330-1 Sellita movement is a customized version tailored specifically for the brand. It features a unique adaptation where a rotating disc with a 24-hour scale replaces the traditional GMT hand, facilitating time-telling across different time zones when used with the rotating bezel. Another notable modification is the upgrade of the mainspring to that of the SW330-2, increasing the power reserve to 50 hours. The movement, classified as Elaboré, undergoes accuracy adjustments in four positions and boasts Top Grade finishing, including blued screws and circular graining, reflecting its exceptional quality. Additionally, each watch's custom rotor is color-matched to the landmass depicted on its 24-hour disc.

Three Distinct Models - Two Old, One New

FARER brings back two beloved models as part of the World Timer collection with their ROCHÉ II and MARKHAM II. These get a new companion with the addition of the FOXE, bringing a deep green color palette to the collection. Each model featured distinct color variations and land masses on the center dial. Let's take a look at each model and what's new.

The ROCHÉ II

The Roché dial seamlessly integrates a highly readable design with intricate details. Notably, the markers combine baton and Arabic numerals crafted from pure white Super-LumiNova, ensuring exceptional visibility in low-light conditions. These markers adorn a midnight blue dial textured with a Clous de Paris guilloché pattern, then varnished to achieve a smooth, glossy finish, enhancing its depth and richness.

Operated via the crown at 10 o’clock, the bidirectional rotating bezel features Grade X1 Super-Luminova for luminosity. The World Timer dial's central disc showcases a 24-hour scale with a powder blue world map at its center. Additionally, the circular date window at three is color-matched to the dial.

Completing the design, the polished silver handset is filled with mint green Super-LumiNova, with the seconds hand featuring a Farer 'A' tip, also lumed in matching mint green.

The MARKHAM II

The Markham World Timer features a timeless red, white, and blue color palette accentuated by a captivating guilloché dial. Adorning the dial are polished batons and numerals filled with deep blue, complemented by a matching blue alpha-shaped handset filled with mint green Super-LumiNova. The seconds hand is distinguished by the Farer 'A' tip in blue.

The rotating bezel of the Markham is midnight blue, with cities displayed in sky blue, except for London, highlighted in red. At the dial's center lies the rotating 24-hour disc, combined with the outer rotating bezel, facilitating time reading across the globe. The bold red and blue 24-hour scale features a printed world map in blue and white, enhancing its visibility and functionality.

The FOXE

The Foxe model introduces a rich green color scheme to the World Timer Collection. Its main dial features a varnished guilloché pattern, providing depth to the color, with pure white markers made from Super-LumiNova for clear visibility. The updated alpha-shaped handset for 2024 offers a more modern look, filled with mint green Super-LumiNova, while the seconds hand displays the Farer 'A' in orange at its tip.

The central disc showcases a bold green and white 24-hour scale with a printed world map in mint and dark green. A bidirectional rotating bezel, matched to the deep green dial, operates via the crown at 10 o’clock, completing the World Timer complication. The circular date window at three is color-coordinated with the dial, with numbers matching the rest of the dial text.
